Northside Industries, an industry leader in the manufacturing and assembly of a variety of steel and aluminum fabrications for the Oil and Gas, Forestry, Heavy Duty Truck, and Mining sectors, is looking for multiple permanent, shippers and receivers to join our team in West Kelowna, BC.

The Estimator (EST) holds a crucial role in creating accurate and specification-compliant quotations to fulfill all client requirements, while ensuring optimal efficiency and cost-effectiveness.
Externally, the Estimator Interfaces with clients in a proactive and engaging manner, possessing a strong customer relationship and engagement mindset while applying technical knowledge in reading blueprints, customer specifications, commercial requirements and steel fabrication processes e.g. cutting, forming, welding to prepare costing and quotes that retain competitiveness and profitability objectives.
Internally, the Estimator collaborates closely with engineering, production, and purchasing teams to validate estimated costs, drive continuous improvement initiatives, and seamlessly transition secured projects to other team members for processing.
This position is instrumental in the achievement of strategic objectives through informed technical and commercial decision-making, proactive customer engagement, unwavering accountability, and prudent financial stewardship.
